Is there a timelimit to accepting your TOL?

Pretty sure mine said 5 calendar days to accept or decline. Although that’s probably soft considering that the next business day isn’t for 5 calendar days, and that’s assuming the government is even open by then.

I thought it was the Senate that was the issue for not passing the budget? The House passed theirs. I don't follow politics really though, so I'm not sure.

Senate and House both passed their own versions. The Senate passed a stopgap unanimously, and Paul Ryan has refused to let the house vote on it. The House passed a version that had Trump’s stupid wall funding in it, and the Senate doesn’t have the votes to confirm it. Ergo, shutdown.

That is nearly impossible to answer, you have quite a few steps before you’ll get an academy date like the MMPI, Medical, background, etc. The government just shut down, so for me it took about 2-3 months from TOL to FOL with a class date of 3/28. I did everything as quickly as I could as soon as HR gave me something to do I was on it like ugly on a coyote.

I hear everyone is HR goes to an undisclosed location. They put on some special robes, and applicants names are written on seperate pieces of paper, then placed in a large bowl. A frail old woman(only known as "The Harbinger") , eyes blinded and white with cataracts, she takes each name from the the bowl, and places the paper in her mouth. If she is pleased with your name, she smiles quietly and eats it, and you are NOT selected. If she grimaces, she spits it out and screams your name, Scribes stand near by write each name.... And that's how they do it.
