BTW if you are military with a clearance already you do not need to mail in the DOT form 1631, you can sign and scan it back in. Just saves some time waiting on the mail. I just talked with my POC for it.

The lady I talked too when scheduling my medical said it's more if you have a continuous medical condition and take prescribed medicine or OTC medicine for it. She also said she doesnt know the FAA's exact requirements though and it wouldn't hurt to list any serious doctor visits.
 
Surprised y’all got everything already. I haven’t received any medical or security stuff yet, just a letter telling me it should come within x amount of calendar days

She hardly ever answers. If you're waiting for instructions, they will come. If its been more than a week call let the HR specialist know.
 
Scheduled my medical today. I’m not able to schedule my MMPI, I was told there’s a glitch in the software and they’ll call me when they’re available to schedule it. Still waiting on security email.

Got it set for the 26th of February. And for those veterans with disabilities, I just took a screenshot of the breakdown of my disability on the ebenefits website and sent it in as a pdf. That's all I could find on there.

In other news, Mitch McConnell did state this afternoon that the POTUS would sign the bill to keep the government open, but it still needs to be voted on in Congress before it gets to the POTUS. Fingers crossed no one here gets delayed and we all end up on the same class date. Good luck to all.

Edit: House Speaker Nancy Pelosi scheduled a news conference at 9:30 p.m. ET following the final vote.

They gave my POC for someone in Chattanooga. Took a couple days before I figured out who I needed to get in touch with here in Nashville. So hopefully I’ll have my MMPI scheduled here soon. Who are you doing your medical with?
 
It says we have 10 days to do the security steps. Does that include the eQUIP step also? Because getting fingerprinted, mailing it, and waiting to get a reply that holds the eQUIP code might cut it close..

I’m also waiting for my e-QIP info. Emailed my POC, but no response back. I’ll call Monday.

I’m also waiting on my MedXpress email.

Other then that I’ll just have to take my MMPI this upcoming Wednesday. My medical early March.

I didn’t get instructions about the drug test, I gues that comes later.
 
A word of advice for everyone. When filling out forms for the government, only put down the minimal information that answers the question that is asked....if they need more information they will ask you.
 
Took my MMPI-2 today. Got a facility tour and they let me watch a radar scope and listen into one of the controllers as he was sequencing approaches. The work environment where I was blew my mind. I've never been more excited for this than I was today. I know we have a long way to go, but I could not be more ready.
 
Did anyone notice it said on the Security e-mail that you can not submit the e-qip until AFTER you send in your fingerprints and OF306 form? I almost didn't catch it. Here's what it says (copy/paste):

(5) After you have completed the e-QIP security questionnaire:
a. Digitally sign all e-QIP signature pages (forms will automatically upload to e-QIP)
b. Release the e-QIP security questionnaire for this office to retrieve/review
NOTE: DO NOT RELEASE THE e-QIP UNTIL YOU HAVE OBTAINED AND MAILED ALL ITEMS DETAILED UNDER #3 ABOVE.

as far as I can tell we have to send in the fingerprints and credit report form in order to receive the code to activate eQIP

I'm doing my medical on the 26th of February. Have you done your MMPI? I just did mine at the BNA tower in Nashville today. be prepared for 567 questions of weirdness.

that's funny, they sent me the activation code in a separate email.
