Hey I know people received their TOLs yesterday, but does anyone know if they are going to send anymore out. I live in the Midwest don't know if that will help. My profile still says reffered, so there is still hope. ?

One of the other guys and me are from the south east if that helps. I received my offer 2 days ago via email, no updates to my faa portal or usa jobs yet.

You transfer from another facility after you get certified.

Can someone link back to the table that shows the average academy pass rate for the past three years. My wife is freaking out after hearing a horror story of one of the classes that only passed three back in ‘17 and I’m trying to explain to her that that was an outlier.
I know failing is a possibility, but a 55% pass rate is MUCH easier to swallow than a 20% pass rate....

I think that's gonna be the ATSA score 85+ (well-qualified) band 1/pool 1 usually gives a 5-10 point boost on your score if that's still how they are doing it.

Interesting..curious, since the number of well qualified candidates fell short of the hiring goal, is it more likely that they will just fall short of the goal for this bid, or would they pull candidates from those that weren’t well qualified to meet their goal? I’m assuming the first scenario..

I would bet on another bid with more advertising since the application rates have dropped significantly between 16-18 but that's just my opinion.

For those that have already done their medical exam, did you pay for it yourself? I read somewhere on here that the FAA pays for that, but when I called and scheduled the clinic told me I would have to pay out of pocket.

I wasn't charged. They never even mentioned the cost. I'm pretty sure it should be paid by the FAA.

its in the faq. you don't pay for anything except any fees for fingerprints
