Hiring Bid Air Traffic Control Specialist - Trainee: FAA-ATO-18-ALLSRCE-57792

I'm more upset because I've taken so many of these mental health/psych tests while in the mil or for other jobs and I'm kindve conditioned to answer what I think they want. The questions were so general.also very likely I could've misread or clicked the wrong answer after answering so many questions. Just shitty how a mistake could prolong or end this process. Also weird that of the ppl who have disclosed they got tier 2, how many of us are vets

How are people contacting their medical POC? Am I missing something? My CIL lists a security POC and gives their number and email address, but for medical it just says "you will be contacted." I got an email from 9-AGL-AVS-Medical-Applicants regarding my medical appointment; that email is signed by a "VHT Medical Program Analyst" and lists an 847 number that goes straight to voicemail, saying to expect a call back in 7-10 business days.

Yup

I’m just happy that I get to go to OKC with people that are as crazy as I am.

That's who I emailed as well, got a response the next day

So you're just replying to that email from 9-AGL-AVS? Makes sense, guess I'll email on Monday if I haven't heard by the end of the day.

When I got tier 2, I had a person contact me. He was very helpful through the process and said I could contact him whenever. I'm saving that for when a few months of radio silence go by and I can send him drunken emails with selfies of me crying so I can get hired.

Bro, you’re trying to convince them you’re NOT a crazy drunk!

The strangest part, now that I think about it, is they didnt ask for my med records. Only my ompf and VA letter. I'll just dwell on that for the time being as I sink deeper into depression. Cheers

...so if I haven't heard anything about my MMPI by now am I good? Took mine 2/15.

I haven't done my medical exam yet though, so would I have to get that done first before potentially hearing anything about the MMPI?

Welp I dont know if this

Same boat buddy. Took mine 2/15 3pm CST and haven't heard a word.

The MMPI can supposedly tell when you’re trying to “trick it” or answer what you think it wants. Maybe that alone sends red flags. (Source: Quora lol)

From what I can gather from googling it the “L scale” portion of the test is 15 or so questions specifically put in to see if you’re trying to be too good. Ones like “sometimes I feel like swearing”

What sucks though is that I think some questions were a little too vague. Like "I sometimes tease animals" can be taken as playfully or as antagonistically. I put no just to be safe but it seems like some people who got tier 2'd said yes from what I've seen. But I can't imagine that being the only question to screw people over. Just a guess?
