Hiring Bid Air Traffic Control Specialist - Trainee: FAA-ATO-18-ALLSRCE-57792

So on the FAQs under Eye it states “ If glasses or contact lenses are required, refractive error that exceeds plus or minus 5.50 diopters of spherical equivalent or plus or minus 3.00 diopters of cylinder is disqualifying.” Does that mean that if you have say -8 but wear glasses to correct you to 20/20 you’re still disqualified?

Alright just to keep updating, accepted my class date and now this morning received the FOL email. so final timeline for me is as follows:

Applied: 7/27
ATSA: 10/27
TOL: 12/21
CIL: 2/13
MMPI: 2/20
Medical: 3/4
Drug Test: 3/6
FOL: 3/19
Starting Date: 4/9
My MMPI and everything after that dates are about 2 weeks later than yours. So lets hope my FOL is only 2 weeks later.

You may have answered this already, but do you remember when you released your questionnaire(e-qip)?

I wear glasses and doc said “as long as you could read this line you would be totally fine”

I read it with no issues.

Just received an email from the Perspecta people, asking for my work location and my daytime # so they could "accurately assign a local investigator to your case in the near future." I think I saw someone else posted that they got an email from them a few pages back.

I actually just got the same email.

Hopefully it doesn't delay things too much.

Actually I'm sort of happy if it does delay things even for a little bit. People were already getting class dates in April and honestly I wouldn't mind waiting till July or so. One other has already gotten a call set up directly tho, so I'm not sure exactly if this is more a face to face or what.

Something makes me believe that not everyone is going through this step. I've only seena handful of people have Perspecta contact them.
