Well, just got notified I'm joining the Tier 2 Squad. I'm not prior military and took my MMPI on Feb. 13. They also want some of my medical records regarding headaches.

Damn that sucks, who's your HR POC?

I’ve had all my clearances done for almost 3 weeks now and still no class date. My HR poc said she hadn’t received any which I call bull on because I called and emailed both medical and security and they sent me and email confirming the exact date and time they emailed my clearance to the HR poc. So I guess I’m just sitting around waiting.

Same with me, I've been cleared through security for a couple of weeks now but my HR POC claims they haven't received anything.

I received an email about my class date on March 29th (Class date is May 20th), but no FOL. It was explained to me that they are waiting for the new pay scale, after the pay increase was approved. So don't fret too much guys.

A lot of this fretting is coming from not even having a start date yet. Idc how late my actual FOL is I just wanna know when I'm going

FWIW, I did not receive any phone calls whatsoever throughout the pre-employment process from any POCs, other than to reschedule MMPI as I was five minutes down the road.

Only once spoke to my HR POC on the phone about a week after accepting a class date through e-mail.

I'm unfamiliar with the whole hiring process for ATC. I really could use some help as to knowing when an open bid comes up for off the street hires. I am using and receiving notifications from usajobs but am unsure if I'll get a notification when a bid opens up.

Just follow this site, and look at the titles to the thread. Notice how this one say Trainee ATO 18. The next one will say Trainee ATO 19 and so on. Has to be a All Source Bid.

Anyone else have a terrible time with EMSI? So far they've scheduled me twice to locations that have been closed. After about 5 calls they are finally sending the test kit to a place that should be open/in business.

I had to go 3 different times because they forgot to send the kit the first time, and unexpectedly closed the second. They only had one employee who would just leave when she felt like it. Definitely an unorganized business.

If you follow the federal aviation administration Facebook page they announce upcoming job bids on there. If I remember correctly they announced the last few about a week before they posted the bid on USA jobs.

CS, but I haven't heard anything from her and tried to email her over a week ago. I got the MMPI email from my flight surgeon, I believe.

I have CS as well, she told me all I'm waiting on is medical, but haven't heard anything beyond that. I've reached out twice to medical (the generic email and the phone #) but never got a reply. Really hoping that's not a bad sign...

I had to go somewhere that was almost 2 hours away...and then they hadn't actually sent anything over.

They gave me the option of a place 30 minutes away, but they would have to send all the testing items to them. I was going an hour and a half down to Denver to take my medical anyways so I just did it at their facility down there that had all the stuff. From what I'm reading, sounds like I made the right choice.

I typically agree with that, although it seems like a lot of the people who get Tier 2'd don't hear anything for a number of days/weeks, and then get the dreaded email.

I showed up for my test only to have them tell me they only do tests for Southwest Airlines and LAUSD and to call whoever scheduled me there to find me another place so I went to the bathroom cause I was about to pee my pants and then called and they told me to go back in they had it wrong and they would talk to them. So lo and behold I go back in to the testing place and they’re like oh yeah sorry we DO do FAA tests our bad lololol but I had an empty bladder now so I had to sit there chugging ice cold water from the cooler for like 30 min before I could take the test properly ?
