MMPI-2 Tier 2 Process

I got cleared earlier this week. Still haven’t heard anything yet. But Sep 3rd would be way too quick. I’m shooting for enroute too. Just waiting for that call now

Just spoke with KH. Hes telling me early October. At least there wont be tornados, i think. lol

Im not gonna lie. After all this waiting and shit, it almost feels surreal. I hope they are clearing out Tier 2 like crazy. I know there are a few guys who have been waiting for way longer than me. I hope us getting through fairly quick is a sign that they are clearing out the back log.

No kidding about the surreal part, I was talking about it with family and they were like, "You don't seem very excited" and I said, "Oh, I'm super excited, now I'm waiting to go, not waiting to maybe and hopefully hear back soon and it feels unreal." Was just pretty shocking.. Haha

HQ received my report on 7/25 so I think I just missed the cutoff as someone on here had theirs received on the the 7/23 and got cleared so I'm bummed especially because it looks like it's done in waves so who knows when the next will be coming.

There was about a week apart between last emails and mine. So maybe they stock pile throughout the week. Ive been stressing it all week but mostly because of my school situation. Just try and occupy your time so youre not abusing the refresh button on your computer like I have been this week.

More enroute classes than terminal for at least the next fiscal year.

It’s worth the wait. I am from the experienced bid in 2017 and just got my facility assignment. It took about a week after medical cleared and another week to get facility assignment. Good luck everyone! It was worth the wait

Currently debating the same dilemma. Last semester of college and last semester of gi bill and tier 2 appt 6/10. I'm really concerned about picking up classes then getting something in oct/nov and they aren't willing to push me back to dec/jan. Even worse is if I take the semester off then dont hear anything till next yr and I gotta bust my ass for the next 3 months to make up for the 7k I wont be getting for bah. Adulting is fun. Leaving the military was a great choice ???

You could use that last part of your GI Bill when you start at your FAA facility if you choose not to start school. Air Traffic is considered an apprenticeship and they’ll pay it to you just as they would if you were in school

You could use that last part of your GI Bill when you start at your FAA facility if you choose not to start school. Air Traffic is considered an apprenticeship and they’ll pay it to you just as they would if you were in school

This....you might be moving to the other side of the country which isn't cheap if you're moving family. That GI bill could be the difference between barely getting by and being just fine. Especially if you end up somewhere with a high cost of living. AG pay sucks and without my GI bill it'd be a lot harder making ends meet. Granted I've got a family so my expenses are more than someone who's just supporting themselves.

Spkoe with KH finally. He told me he wouldnt be able to offer me anything until October, I guess something to do with the fiscal yr. After some discussion, we decided to go back to my original decision to finish my semester. Looks like i may get an academy date for mid december to early january. Makes it difficult to concentrate on school knowing I have this waiting for me though lol. Want to get into the field already.

I didnt feel comfortable dropping all my classes without an FOL with a class date. Also my university was pretty unclear whether I would get refunded or not and I didnt want to risk my last semester of GI bill. There was too many unknowns to just drop my classes and it didnt help that I couldnt get any answers from KH before Monday. Had he told me I would need to start sooner then I wouldve just dropped the classes and taken the loss. It all worked out though thankfully.
