Hiring Bid FAA-ATO-19-ATCEXP-63736

we are ahead of the timeline curve looking back at other peoples posts, I would expect CIL in the next couple of weeks and potentially a facility list DEC/JAN if everyone else is working this fast.
Yeah I’m expecting about the same timeline. Here’s to stressing out about getting through CIL clean!

Well glad to hear it, I've heard horror stories about people who were denied due to claiming ptsd/mental disorders on their exit from service. What would cause someone to get denied then?
Well considering the EKG... Anything.
We've all got mental disorders in this job, if you wanted that free government money and claimed that Army basic gave you PTSD then you didn't want this as a career.
If you were smart enough to not claim anything and ruin your chances, then it's just the 1000 other health problems that could disqualify you.

All my friends in the FAA are collecting some sort of disability from the government, some as high as 90%. I would imagine any disqualifing item in service would be a worry in the FAA, but only the FAA flight surgeon would be able to say.

Nothing yet, I'm expecting this week or next if we are going off previous time lines. I returned my TOL within a few hours of receipt if that makes a difference.

I know at least two people in the FAA that are getting 100% disability after they got out the Navy. They're onboarding processes took a lot longer than mine did, but that may or may not be because of their medical history.

These last two bids have been moving relatively quickly for most people. Thank goodness.

Depending on who runs the place they either rush through work so theres no calls during their holiday or they push it off till after the holiday. Based on my army experience the rush only happened once but I am praying for that.

Any calls on the holidays will go to voice mail.. just hope the govt doesn’t shut down and HR goes to work. Lol and no matter how fast you complete the CIL appointments the hiring process can go slow as hell.

With all things considered this bid has been relatively fast

Is anyone else referred for any DOD jobs? I am referred for a couple and just curious if they offer it to me should I take it even tho I have a TOL from this bid. I don’t know how fast DOD timeline is and the last thing I want to do is take the DOD job, move there and work for a month, and then bounce to the FAA
