How long do you have to complete and submit your CIL stuff once you get it? I am going on vacation for 2 weeks in December and will not be able to complete any documentation at that time.

60 days, but some of the security stuff is on tighter deadlines. There is a 10 day limit for fingerprints, and a 15 day limit for the background form which starts after you get your fingerprints in and they get back to you. Also you get your notice on where to do your fingerprints, and other security documents within 10 days of receiving your CIL

You basically can go to any law enforcement in your area that provides them.

Or they can refer you. I called a local sheriff's office and they referred me to a fingerprinting service.

I'm still waiting. email says if you haven't received a confirmation within 14 days, email them for a confirmation

Where I live they sent me straight to a federal office that was doing my security clearance to get the prints.

Security will contact you within 10 business days with instructions. Medical within 14 calendar days. You schedule the MMPI yourself. That's all I know until I get the other emails

Who ever has their clearances completed first will get the first class dates. Beyond handing out TOLs nobody cares about the pools anymore.

I sent my TOL acceptance on Sunday. I got confirmation yesterday morning. But we wait, will be good practice for the future.

Yeah, I sent mine in on Sunday too and I'm still waiting on confirmation.
