Hiring Bid FAA-ATO-19-ALLSRCE-61676

Got my CIL yesterday. I think I might withdraw my application rather than going through all of the tests/checks however.
When I was a kid there was a span of time when I had absence seizures. I was prescribed medication for three years. Even though it's been over 16 years since my last episode/was prescribed the medication (so long ago that I've almost forgot it ever happened), it seems that any history of such a condition is grounds for disqualification. Best of luck to everyone else.

The worst that can happen is they tell you no.

Exactly, don’t be that person. Go through the process and let them tell you no. There’s a lot of individuals out there who applied for the same bid as you did, didn’t get a TOL, and age out. They would rather be where you’re at now. You’re giving up before the race even starts.

I’m trying to get an eye appointment for my glasses, before I get the CIL. Looking through one lens, it’s clear, the other lens, still a little blurry. Even though I just had these frames made for 20/20...Now I have to check them for 20/20 in each lense

Still waiting to hear back from my MMPI proctor, been 2 weeks since I emailed her. It's the only thing I have left to schedule. Have the AME physical on Friday.

To add to what's already been said. If you just withdraw now there will be a question in the back of your mind for the rest of your life always wondering what if you'd just gone through the process. Go through the process and see what happens.

Has anyone had to have their dr fill out a CSR (current status report)? I was asked by medical to have one filled out due to historical prescriptions.

You should call or consider a different facility. The closest facility to me I called multiple times and emailed and never got a response, called one that was 30 mi away and they picked up immediately and scheduled quickly.

Still no CIL from CS. Should I be concerned and/ or start calling or still wait it out? I don’t want to be a bother but my friend already has his EODs and got his medical, MMPI, drug test and prints done

As had been said numerous times, everyone doesn't get the CIL at the same time. Medical and background cannot keep up with that. CILs are staggered. You need to be patient. If you got a TOL you will get a CIL.
