Hiring Bid FAA-ATO-19-ALLSRCE-61676

I got my CIL today. I am trying to schedule my MMPI-2. There isn't a primary proctor listed for the nearest airport near me but there are 4 phone numbers. Should I contact the nearest airport with a primary proctor listed or try to contact the airport nearest to me that doesn't say "primary?" The CIL says to ensure you are contacting the primary proctor. So I am unsure what to do. Any suggestions?

I had some trouble scheduling the MMPI, as well. A nearby listed 'primary' never answered, and the next closest facility didn't have a primary listed. I ended up contacting the 'closest' 3 facilities anyways (whether they had primaries listed or not), first by phone, and then by email. If they are able to administer the MMPI, they'll let you know once you get in touch with them.

I'd recommend trying for primary contacts first if possible, but it doesn't hurt to call a nearer facility and ask even if they don't have a primary listed.

I also had a similar issue where the closest primary wasn't responding to any communication effort. I just called the next facility even though it didn't have a primary and they proctored the MMPI for me. I would call rather than e-mail, it's faster and more reliable.

For all those worried about proctors listed as primaries for MMPI-2, don't. For my small city airport one person was listed as alternate, and the other person left that section blank. I choose the one not listing anything, and that was the person that does all of them in the area. ATL has like six listed proctors, but they all left the primary/alternate block blank if that tells you anything. Just call a few up, and see if they'll do it for you. You shouldn't need to drive 2 hours to take the MMPI-2.

Contact the other people listed at the facility. I'll copy and paste my response from earlier in this thread.

Yeah definitely make it a point to contact all the listed people at the facility. I first tried to contact the proctor listed as "primary" and turns out she was on vacation until January. So I contacted the next person on the list and turns out that person is the one that handles the MMPI-2 testing anyway. So worth a shot!

I've actually taken my MMPI since I posted that and the lady that I worked with had no clue why the other lady was labeled "primary" to being with. So I would suggest contacting the other people listed at the closest facility before you go and try other facilities.

For the people that completed the medical pre-employment worksheet how in depth did you go? I don’t have to list every time I’ve had a cold or every time I’ve taken Tylenol or do I. Any insight is much appreciated

Nope, I didn't go that in-depth. I mentioned having had asthma as a child. As far as I can recall, it's similar to general doctors' paperwork when you first visit a new physician. For example: any history of cancers, cardiac arrest, or other major issues in the family? Not sure if you have a specific question in mind.

Thank you I just wasn’t sure if I had to list anything because I’ve been lucky enough to not have any real issues other then just normal sickness, no surgeries or ongoing issues. Appreciate you!

Yeah, I left out any routine appointments that were check ups but I listed the more complicated ones (like getting a crown for a tooth) and had a few things listed and my AME said I went in depth, lol. So I don’t think they are very strict about knowing every appointment you have ever had.
