Hiring Bid FAA-ATO-19-ALLSRCE-61676

If I got EODs on December 16th and no CIL yet should I be concerned? My friend got his CIL 3 days after EODs.

I’m worried I did the EODs wrong and missed the 5 day deadline. It’s just digitally signing and answering the 3 forms right? I got 3 emails saying the 3 forms were approved.

LM has contacted me on behalf of CG and I start 2/27, terminal basics woooo. It says Air Traffic Basics (Tower) goes from 2/27 to 4/1, and Initial Tower Cab Training goes from 4/1 to 5/21. I was under the impression academy would only last 5 weeks? What's the Initial Tower Cab Training?
Basics is well basics and initial training is when you actually start doing practical lab and sim work.

If it says they're all approved, you should be good. HR has their hands full right now with some people's FOLs, HR reps taking holiday, picking up the next batch of CILs. Just going to have to play the waiting game.

I failed eyesight at the AME and went to a optometrist today to get a newer prescription to send in, but they told me I had 20/20. Now I'm totally confused and just got a 20/15 prescription to be sure?

did you fail at the AME in the near or distance test? Most common optometrists will only prescribe for distance, not the “near” which is supposed to be like 18 inches distance or something like that. Might be worth checking out what part the AME said you failed and coordinating that with your optometrist.

Okay thanks. I thought I did everything right just wanted to make sure.

Yeah I am somewhat in the same boat as you. I am waiting for my HR rep to be back in the office from holiday break. I have everything done an submitted, just a waiting game.

Same...do you have MG for security?
Sorry I missed this yesterday! No, I have SM. I never received ANYTHING from them besides the first email. I tried to call/email multiple times but nada.
And I just got another email from a totally different med analyst asking for the same d@mn info another one asked for on 12/16. ?

Is it normal to get an email from the National Background Investigations Bureau asking if your work location has changed? It also says they are in the process of assigning an investigator to complete your interview. Does this mean I will need an in-person interview?

Yes it sounds like you will be doing an in person interview. They will go over your EQIP with you basically line by line and ask you to explain any discrepancies, lapses in jobs, etc... Whatever they ask you they already know the answer and just want to hear your side so don't lie.

Do you know if I will have to go to them or are they going to come to my workplace?
