The only thing this shiny new document performs is pass the proverbial buck on to the local level to ultimately say NO to training. Vaccination or bust, or RIF.
Idk about your manager but mine wants training started yesterday. Our county probably isn’t green though.

Good thing my facility is pro training!

What about the newly posted document from today the FAA put out? If it is the holy grail of resuming training shouldn't it be in there?
[/QUOTE]

This document doesn’t mention the county covid case map or criteria so just assume someone is blowing smoke up your ass.

There will be a future document pertaining to "High Risk" individuals released at a latter date. No further word on that but I would not expect anything any time soon.

Say it again, slowly...

Let me guess. The workplace is too dangerous for the high risk employees to work in. They shall only come in once every 120 days and be exposed instead of their normal schedule.

It would be dumb for them to come in every 120 given they won't be returning until 2022. The whole airspace will have changed by then.

You’re right though, when I went in for my 120 I had been removed from CEDAR lol, so the supe said “fuck it, you can figure it out, let’s get this over with“ lol.

If they said come back next week I’ll go back happily, but even my doc told me there’s no reason to go back and increase my risk when they are giving me free leave.

Idk about anywhere else but we were told a while ago before anyone starts training who hasn’t trained in at least 120 days has to go back to OKc for a refresher before resuming training here. Idk if it’s still valid and it’s stupid but that’s what we were told

Why is it stupid? I think it's a great idea personally. You can't want trainees on hold indefinitely and also not give them the opportunity to relearn material they've obviously forgotten. I think everyone at home should be required to start over from day 1 basics, and no I'm not trolling.

because it would be better to just do a refresher course in house

Trainees have been studying material at home the entire time

Just talked to one of our trainees. I guess they have to go back to do 2 weeks of tetra class. So dumb.
