The Reno area also includes SMF/Sacramento region which has shit loads of VFR and a couple air force bases nearby. Not saying it’s a 12 on it’s own but I’d guess it’s busier than an 8. Wish there was a way to lookup individual areas traffic.

Have any specific facilities that you have first hand knowledge of brought non certified trainees or contract trainers physically back into the buildings ?

We got one who lost currency due to medical prior to the EA for about 2 months, got her medical back a few weeks ago and can't train. It's a bullshit rule, especially for a full blown CPC, trust me I've tried getting it waived since me and another guy fill her line with double mids and double quick turnes every week.

God forbid the FAA gets its shit together.

Curious if your CPC has been allowed back yet. Still think that situation is especially ludicrous.
