I respect every controller as a whole and this profession unlike many I deeply love this job and I love the people in it. What I don’t like are complainers, scammers, laziness and incompetence amongst other things the brilliant Union continues to protect. A lot of these descriptions fit those of N90 and controllers everywhere. As a whole I don’t think that everyone gets as fair a shot as N90 when it comes to treatment. But the squeaky wheel gets the oil. I can’t be any more superior than a moderator of an ATC Forum. One day I hope to be so talented, and that’ll be the day I bid N90.

I mean, I’m liberal AF and believe in the 2A and am personally armed and go to the range for proficiency.

I’m genuinely curious, in what measurable way was your life impacted by this? That was 16-26 years ago so it’s obviously had an effect on you. Did you go homeless because it was harder to buy an AK-47? Did you struggle to provide for your family because ammo was more expensive? Outside of protecting your property, assault weapons are a hobby. And the fact that so many people invoke a hobby when it comes to voting is just a little bit backwards.

Because it’s a right. If trump really is a tyrannical fascist who isn’t going to follow the results of the election, why wouldn’t you want all the firepower your rights afford you? The 2A has nothing to do with hunting

We wash about 70%. It was a little less when we had the MOU. Maybe chalk that up to more people actually wanting to be there since they didn’t get move money on the bid. About 45% of us on the MOU a couple years back made it. Still a few trickling in from that that had 2 year releases. And the rest now are just ERRs via NCEPT. Obviously no one has made it from a VFR tower. Robertb been here longer he’d have better idea of stats prior to 2018.

We also are only on 5/5 because of leave cancellation. Constantly working 145-150 on 25 off. Only at 60% of last years numbers too. But it’s enough that 18 on a shift is brutal. BWS will be welcome if the traffic doesn’t fall off anymore.

hiw many CPC’s did you have on a crew when you were on 5/10? Also all of our CPC’s (in my area) have cancelled all our leave. In my area we have 4 CPC’s per shift (2 for mids) and that’s using sups as staffing

We had the same. The big change is they decided we had to staff the desk and we don't have sups half the time.

I dunno man. I live in a state with an AWB and I've never felt that my right to bear arms was being infringed upon or that anyone was coming for my guns. The problem is continuing with this misconceived notion that anyone other than a Republican is going to steal your guns while completely ignoring the very real and documented threat to government unions
