yeah, that’s why I said “should be treated more like vehicles” and not “we should apply the exact same standards we do to cars to firearms,”
Elaborate on that stance, then?

Trump headed to the hospital.. discuss.
I didn’t see the NRA coming to breonna Taylor’s bf defense when he was defending his home
GimpsuitThat's because the NRA is a shill organization bent on making money, people who tend to know much about the topic lean towards the GOA an actual organization which represents gun owner interests.

You realize there was an incident in Hawaii where a Japanese american couple sheltered and helped to escape a Japanese pilot who was shot down during the attack on Pearl Harbor right? That Decision didnt come out of nowhere and during a War of total conquest it was the most correct thing to do, given the information available at the time. After the war, it was realized it was overkill, but given what we were up against it’s hardly tyranny. No different than Lincoln suspending habeas corpus In the civil war
look the battle of Athens, 1946 where veterans had a shootout with the sheriff who was rigging an election, that’s a example of fighting tyranny
I’m genuinely curious, in what measurable way was your life impacted by this? That was 16-26 years ago so it’s obviously had an effect on you. Did you go homeless because it was harder to buy an AK-47? Did you struggle to provide for your family because ammo was more expensive? Outside of protecting your property, assault weapons are a hobby. And the fact that so many people invoke a hobby when it comes to voting is just a little bit backwards. Some of us in the gun community remember what it was like from 94-04 under the “assault weapons ban”. Prices got out of control and availability was low. Never again.
Dead presidential nominees does not make their VP selections the de facto party nominees, does it?Hope he keels over along with Biden, I wanna see Conversion Camp Pence and Incarcerate the Minorities Harris go at it, with Mrs. Pence's ok of course.

I demand 40mm with foreskin!!!If I can't slap a big rubber dick on my bayonet lug am I really free?
so how come we didn’t do the same to German and Italian Americans? You’re talking about protecting rights from one side of your face and defending imprisoning American citizens without trial out the other. Rights for me, not for thee!
I demand 40mm with foreskin!!!
The same was done to them. 11500 people of German descent and 3000 of Italian descent. The major issue they faced was discerning who was and wasn't German and/or Italian as definable traits made it easier to discern the Japanese from others which is why the U.S. was so cruelly efficient at it.
History needs to be viewed with context.

Since you are technically voting for electors (picked by the parties) in the Electoral College, the parties would probably put up whoever they think best and have the electors vote for them. So it could be generic R vs. generic D, but in practice the national committees of both parties would put up someone. But their names wouldn't be on the ballot.Dead presidential nominees does not make their VP selections the de facto party nominees, does it?
