We may still not know that he has it if someone didn’t leak that hicks had it and how close she was to him.

As much as I despise Trump and most of his supporter base I think it's better that his status is kept covered up until he's either dead or fully recovered, it's too large of a threat to national security if the entire world knew if he was about to die (imagine hackers sending ransomware to the hospital and fucking their life support machines). Yeah he has the best security in the world but there's always that fringe chance.

Flags (and symbols) can change in meaning if they are used in a different time period. The swastika was a symbol of good luck until.... you know the story. Anyone in the Western world will think you're a Nazi even if you intended differently. You can't use symbols and say "well the original meaning is ____" when it's known more widely as something else.
