Hiring Bid Air Traffic Control Specialist - Trainee: FAA-ATO-17-ALLSRCE-53474

First off, I submitted my equip on 2/23/2018, and my security POC received my mail prints and forms on 2/27/2018. With that being said, I'm still waiting on my conditional clearance. I got in contact with my security POC a couple days ago, and she informed me that I submitted all the information that is needed. All I need to do is sit tight, and wait for my file to finish pending because she is unable to provide me with anymore information. I say all of that to ask, why so long? After reading several forums, majority of the candidates was granted their conditional clearance in two weeks to be semi exact. I am only 22 years of age and no bad history in the pass. Am I the only one in this precarious position?

How long did it take everyone for the mmpi? I scheduled mine the first available time they have and then 2 hours later got a notice from a professor they were moving up a project presentation that same day. I just want to make sure I'll have enough time to make it to class or if I'll have to reschedule my mmpi.

It really depends on you and the facility. I finished mine in about 35 minutes, but I read crazy fast. Its 567 yes/no questions. Setup might take a little time too.

Damn, that sounds insanely fast. I just want to make sure it won't take me close to 4 hours. It's in Orlando so I'm sure the setup is not an issue assuming they do more than a few considering they were booked up all this week.

Mine took around the same time. In and out in about 45 min.

my POC was actually training someone else on how to set them up and save the results so you could probably expect a time closer to what everyone else is posting

submitted my security clearance information and I wrote down about 2 credit cards that i had thought I had paid off a long time ago and got contacted by a collecting agency about and I paid them off over a year ago? Do you think I’ll get questioned about that type of stuff and I know my credit score is only like 620 so was also wondering what they do about the credit release info.

Doubt it. As long as you don't have any current delinquent debt or show a pattern of poor financial decisions.

It took me 3 hours to drive there one way, about 40 minutes for the MMPI, then they showed me around the facility, and a 3 hour drive back.

You aren’t in a precarious position. It’s probably fine, just sit tight and don’t email them 800 times.

Did anybody else not receive a reply from the 9-agl-avs email when returning your medical worksheet? Turned mine in Monday and never heard back.

Just emailed my HR rep for an update, they have my drug test and conditional clearance, just waiting for medical. Flight surgeon emailed me 8 days ago saying he would let me know when he has cleared me... still waiting!

Is anybody still waiting on EODS? I received my TOL on 12/27, and haven't heard anything else since then.
Just got mine last week and now the same people that work on our stuff also work on prior experience which just had a bid not too long ago. They are still working on it though.
