If you got enroute and don't study hard you're gonna fail. Terminal on the other hand is easy as hell
I'm not super worried about the money myself, just throwing it out there. Luckily the old lady has a solid job and will be living with her mother, so i can stay wherever will give me the best shot.

My friend who graduated last year said Kims and Anatole were the only places worth a damn to stay at

i'm strongly considering ib because free food that i dont have to cook appeals to me on a deep and intimate level, but i will probably end up staying at kim's

I just heard IB is kind of shitty, plus cooking your own food isn't that bad, just get a crock pot

Honestly I'm gonna try to get a two bed room at anatole with a classmate and split the 1000 a month for two bed two bath

I’ve seen Anatole online for cheaper, when it gets closer to time I’m going to ask around to see if I can get roommates at an FAA facility because I agree with you guys, I’d rather be around classmates than be isolated. Plus @AB19 if we get the same class dates I’d totally be up for splitting a 2/2 for 1k a month.

Ok this is what I thought... I am not one to blow anything this big off... not even basics. I’d rather be over prepared than overconfident
Terminal is running airport simulations using academy airport. I know it like the back of my hand. It would be hard if you have no idea what you're doing, but I do, and i say terminal is easier since you can actually see the planes, although its a lot easier to crash them too.

Kim's place is a 20+ minute drive to the academy.

oops, guess I read wrong

i dont mean to be rude but i've been around various forums in my day and its kind of a faux pas to make multiple posts in succession mister ab, you can insert multiple quotes into the same reply!

I'm terminal. I have a family friends friend recently miss his final exam/simulation whatever you call it by 5 points. Granted he was enroute. Any advice on my best course of action to make sure I make it through the academy? I'm not worried, just don't wanna get that far only to fall short at the end.

I don't know where I saw it either this site or SM but can anyone please direct me to where I can find that PDF the FAA came out with a month or two ago that had general information showing hiring plans for the next few years among other things. I can't seem to find it.

This site is a resource, use it to your advantage. Be cognizant of where your advice is coming from. Stuckmic is famous for the blind leading the blind mentality and some of that has started to creep over here. We'll correct it when we see it, but can't catch everything.

I understand you dug yourself a hole you are trying to climb out of, but disregarding everything above, your CTI school had Tower sims with the academy airport, then didn't have Radar sims with Jan Low? Or were you a terminal RPO at the academy?

Nah, we had Jackson low for radar, 90% of the class shit the bed in non radar, and 50% shit the bed in radar. For tower and advanced tower all but like four people got an A or B. Tower is more simple, but it's easier to fuck up when you give a plane a clearance to land and forgot you had a plane for a line up and wait.
