Hiring Bid Air Traffic Control Specialist - Trainee: FAA-ATO-17-ALLSRCE-53474

Well yeah, but my ground will tell a Cat 2 to get in front of a heavy if the they're both taking off 28R I hope, not going to make the Cat 2 wait 3 minutes before he can go
Depends. If it's a total tie and one of them has to be given a hold point to wait and then follow to the runway, you might. But if the Heavy will be number 1 to the runway and you don't have to hold anybody on the taxiways to make that sequence work, that's how they'll come.

So they issue wake turbulence every clearance?
There is no wake turbulence advisories for departures. You either have your 2-3 minutes, or radar mileage, in both cases, no "caution wake turbulence" is given.

Not gonna let myself get attacked for stating an opinion. But I agree, anyone get a medical yet?

Understood.

No I'm still waiting on a CIL. I got the EOD on Friday and sent it back. Nothing else besides that

I'm guessing that they're backed up already in the hiring process. My rep told me that the medical was backed up the full three weeks, and I got my CIL last Monday.

I also sent my stuff back on friday, and i was just alerted that they had "accepted" all of the documents in EODS. Keep an eye out.

It would be neat if all the chit chat had its own place to go, maybe something like a chat room! If only we had something like that

I don’t understand why people are so worried about not getting a CIL as of yet. If you have a TOL just calm down and wait. You’re already in the process and locked in, it’ll come.

Honestly, I've been stuck in my office all week, unable to go out in the field, and i'm going stir crazy. So i make phone calls and sit on here and Reddit. Getting stuff from the FAA alleviates the boredom.
