Had my in person interview today, only had to do it for one minor blemish from one job. Was told it won't hold me up and it should make it to the FAA in 2-3 weeks. So hopefully it doesn't delay me too much!

You got in front of someone pretty quickly considering last Friday you were lost without a cause. Good to see things moving along

Glad all your stuff is cleared up man. It was a wild ride keeping up with just reading about it, let alone living it.

So what new name have you picked out? Lol

Yeah it was really easy I had nothing to hide and my security POC felt bad for all the confusion and expedited the situation.

So any info or recommendations? I had to cancel my Medical and drug test due to family emergencies/issues. I plan to rescedule in May once things have hopefully been cured/solved. But even then, is there a way to defer class dat to possibly spring/summer of 2019? I don’t want to lose this opportunity since I’m so close and far in. This is just poor timing and I can’t leave this year. Thanks all.

Don't you only have like 90 days to complete the medical portion?

I hope your situation improves, whatever it is must be very difficult for you. In all honesty I can't see them allowing you to defer to next year. Most likely HR will, politely, ask you to re-apply to the next OTS bid.

I appreciate the honesty, perhaps Q4 (Dec) this year? I just know if I receive an offer for June or July that would be a very quick turn for everything going on.

I totally empathize with you, sincerely. I don't have a good answer for your question, perhaps @breakaway2000 or @MJ has seen this before and can offer more guidance.
If I can’t, I can’t. I’ll have to push through, I want this career. I appreciate the condolances. I’ll try and extend as long as I can in the guidelines and hope for the best. Thanks again.

My FOL specialty is TRACON not terminal and email says an end daye of mid September. I checked the schedule of classes and there is indeed a tracon basics 4/2. Terminal basics is 4/5. I live in long island and originally asked with my original tol if n90 was still a no new hire, said theyd switch me to enroute because n90 was still no new hire. My guess is its for n90, considering its a 5.5 month class. Ill confirm and post.
