Well everyone its finally happened. Just got word that I am medically cleared. Thanks for everyone who was going crazy with me. I am currently blowing up HR to try and get someone on the line about how soon I can expect to start. My semester starts Monday and I need to drop my classes. Ill update once the dust has settled.
how long did it take you from your eval? I'm still waiting to get an appt.

I think im gonna be screwed until they start up again. I had asked to be pushed back so I could finish this semester. I thought it was strange though when speaking to KH. He said he wouldn't be able to give me a class date till after october so it looks like they were having some issues with funding or waiting for the new fiscal year. I couldn't wait that long and he was very understanding about me finishing the semester. I was anticipating a mid December/ early Jan date. Hope this hold isnt too long.

I was called a few days ago and offered a basics class some time in October, I asked if he had any in November and he gave me November 14th! I applied last year in September and was tier 2'd. Very excited to begin and also very nervous about how hard this whole academy will be.

Nice, don’t let the hype on here get you. Study with your classmates, study often, and you’ll be fine. Learn the map as soon as you can, it makes the map test much easier and the NR labs a lot easier too. Phraseology is a big thing too, let most everything roll off your back. You’ll hear a ton of opinions, some hyped up, others not. It may seem obvious, but listen to the instructors. Most will want you to pass and will do what they can to help.

When were you called ? I’ve been cleared for about a month and I’m still waiting for a class date.

Last Wednesday. It was a week after I was notified that I cleared my tier 2.

Thank you for the advice. A lot of people have mentioned getting the phraseology and map down on the other forums I've been looking at. I will definitely do that. I just wish there was something I could study before hand but everyone seems to say there isn't and to just learn it at the academy.
