Those applicants that are able to overcome the incredible hardship that having a numlock key on the keyboard can cause deserve it more than those who can't, sorry. Everyone has worked hard (but not really that hard) to this point, just because some didn't struggle with the overlay and/or didn't mind the keyboard keys doesn't mean they had an easier road. I hate the "I worked hard to get here" line. You and everyone else.
If the numlock key and loose overlay eliminate even one person that can't adapt to tough situations, I'm glad they're there. What if there wasn't an overlay, you just had to remember where they were? You can say you don't want to work with me and that's fair but these things are as much of a skill you need as being able to answer the questions on the test. So is being able to work with people that have been doing it and don't want to hear people complain about stuff EVERYONE has to deal with as being unfair.
This obviously doesn't apply to any legitimate equipment issues
