I'm prior service and still haven't gotten MMPI results yet. I took the MMPI on the 15th
Just got word I was tiered 2 also. I personally reached out to my medical POC.
What did they say the reason for tier 2 was? The MMPI?I'm from the '17 bid and most of us that we're tier 2 seem to be veterans. I would venture to say the same will be the case for this bid. I was notified May of '18 that I was tier 2 and besides having been told to request my personnel records not much has changed. Once your records get sent over then your package sits with the flight surgeon until they review it. Once they finally review it everything moves to the tier 2 office who you won't be able to contact and will have to sit and wait to hear from them. Get comfortable, it may be a while.
I’m not prior military so it’s MMPI for me.What did they say the reason for tier 2 was? The MMPI?
Or is it something to do with your VA disability?
Definitely not. That's how I was last spring, then summer, then fall and now this spring. I finish my degree in May so now I have to find a job that I may end up leaving shortly after being hired if this finally pans out.Lovely. Guess I don't have to worry about an academy date before this this semester finishes.

You won't get the results of your mmpi, you will end up retaking it when you do the psych interview eventually, I think multiple times that day actually.I’m not prior military so it’s MMPI for me.
Does anyone think medical will share the results of your mmpi?
Anyone ever been through the tier 2 psych interview?
Having to retake the MMPI after 6 months is just icing on the cake. Why did I admit i teased my animals (D'oh)I found this when looking at stuff about tier 2. post #52 discusses a little bit of what he went through
Tier 2
Was told this morning I have to do a tier 2. [emoji21] Has anyone been told they have to do one of these? Or has anyone done one before? What should I expect? I saw on an old thread that it's either 2 separate appts or and all day appt?? Is that accurate? Insight anyone? Sent from my...www.stuckmic.com
Shit so did I. Not tier 2 though.....yetHaving to retake the MMPI after 6 months is just icing on the cake. Why did I admit i teased my animals (D'oh)
Fuck.... same, that’s the one that sticks in my mind lol. Not tier 2 yet thoughShit so did I. Not tier 2 though.....yet
I wouldn't worry unless you are a veteran lol.Shit so did I. Not tier 2 though.....yet
I’m not, I wonder why veterans seem to be at a disadvantage for tier 2. Anyways, best of luck to you sorry the process is prolonged for you.I wouldn't worry unless you are a veteran lol.
FWIW, from lurking forums since 2016ish it doesn't seem like its ONLY or mostly veterans that get tier 2'd. Everyone I have ever worked with that has pursued the FAA has been hired and not one has been tier 2'd.I’m not, I wonder why veterans seem to be at a disadvantage for tier 2. Anyways, best of luck to you sorry the process is prolonged for you.
You clearly know nothing about the Tier 2 process. There is literally nothing quick or efficient about it. Just wait around and in about a year Hope will email you instructions.I took my MMPI-2 on the 15th, so HOPEFULLY I'm not Tier 2'd. Sorry to hear for everyone that is and let's all hope the Tier 2 process is quick and efficient for you.
I'll tell ya why, its cause we are trained to lie on literally every medical/pyshc test we are given. If you dont lie there is no way to pass Example: Do you ever consume more than 3 alcoholic drinks at a time? if you answer yes automatically referred to ADAPT.I’m not, I wonder why veterans seem to be at a disadvantage for tier 2. So true lmao!I'll tell ya why, its cause we are trained to lie on literally every medical/pyshc test we are given. If you dont lie there is no way to pass Example: Do you ever consume more than 3 alcoholic drinks at a time? if you answer yes automatically referred to ADAPT.
Every marine I knew, including myself, is considered a binge drinker and alcoholic by these standards. Same with everyone I know in the Air Force thats why we are trained to lie, you have to. It's stupid I asked the Doc last time they asked me that why they even ask it when they know that everyone is lying.....he just laughed.Every marine I knew, including myself, is considered a binge drinker and alcoholic by these standards.
