The agency hides their problems. They relocate problem children. A prime example is the drunk controller at LAS.

It wasn’t a stroke. They made the las controllers come in the next day (even if they were off) and sign NDAs, to not talk about it or else. The union and the faa made her a deal - resign and the investigation goes away. Whatever is in your tsp etc is yours. You don’t, you get crucified, union won’t help you. She quit, that’s why it just vanished.

Last I hear she applied for an Saic job in OKC, they decided it had not been quite long enough though to put everything behind her, she did not get the job.

Correct. I believe they found a bottle in the trash can and she had been to an inpatient rehab for drinking not too long before this went down. Apparently was a very unpleasant person no one enjoyed working with, the one person who brings the whole line down

The las incident is an example of the agency covering up criminal misconduct. There are plenty of problem children who get moved around before it rises to that level. Again, where is the Austin big brain 1000 foot tower guy now?
