CTO benefit for OTS Bid

It's also worth noting of you didn't get the D band pay you could fight for back pay. I know a guy that was shorted for 2 years and the agency ended up cutting him a check for everything.

I would try to get in any way possible. I know people that took them 10 years and every bid in that time frame to get in. At 31 its over, prior experience might be ideal but it's not garunteed. Just getting in is like hitting the lottery. (Getting transferred is another lottery but thats a fight for another day). I'd put in for all of them. Me personally, military CTO picked up on an OTS bid, academy was MUCH easier for me than for others because I was very familiar with most things in the curriculum already from my background. Slight learning curve for enroute but easily manageable.

T

he question is to OTS applicants really not make the cut? How many are there?
There are plenty of OTS. I would say my facility is 50/50 if not 60/40 in favor of ots.
