Did you guys all do the SF86 through eQip when you got your CIL? My HR rep said that was the only thing I was waiting to clear....funny thing I just renewed mine with the AF and it cleared Oct '18 so not sure why I even had to redo it when my current clearance was good for another 9+ years

Yes. You have to do it again because it is a different security clearance. Not the same as the military does

I'm still waiting on a list. Still waiting to clear medical. Took the MMPI April 1, and exam on April 8. FAA Medial won't email me back. lol AC says no news is good news.

Mostly. Some had some tracons on their lists but the rest had the same from what people have shared

I’m RAPCON only experience. My list was 90% up downs and a couple towers with radar.

Do you have radar experience already?? If you do, you may get offered a tracon. If not, you’ll be looking for an up/down facility. It’s likely you’ll get offered a few of those

Most with tower only or average/mediocre radar facilities will be given 7 and below up/downs. That’s how it goes. The FAA doesn’t care if your tower only. They send you to OKC. The bigger TRACON offerings will go to guys/gals with busy Radar experience. These don’t happen as often because not many facilities really stack up to the big TRACONS.

I’m just radar experience. I have an approach and enroute ticket. Currently working at a MRU now and work with high desert tracon and EDW afb a lot. And yeah hoping to get some tracons and not just up/downs would be nice lol.

I had a friend get picked up off the 2017 Exp. bid that had one CTO and a Carrier ticket. He was offered mostly TRACON if I recall correctly.

Seems to be pretty random on what they’re offering lol tracons are nice just because higher lvl means higher pay obviously.

Recieved list last week. Regardless of what I get im going to accept. But is there any possible way I DONT get a FOL? I want to put my 2 weeks in today at my current job. Money and lenght of time untill I go to Facility is not an issue.

I REALLY doubt it'll be Thrs. A list just came out last Thrs. Prlly 3 more weeks-ish, I would guess.

I emailed and asked what my status was now when I didn’t get a list last week just to make sure something didn’t fall between the cracks and this morning got an email saying my medical is cleared and the next step will be to get a facility list.

What are you saying in your email? I emailed them a week ago and got nothing back from them.
