Hiring Bid FAA-ATO-19-ALLSRCE-61676

Oh i hear you, the FAQ is very helpful, and I've read various links there a number of times. I just checked back quickly and I swear it doesn't mention EQIP in it.

I feel like it would be extremely helpful to have a "what is this initialism" section of the FAQ. It might even act as a directory of sorts.

Eqip: part of the CIL you get after your TOL. your HR POC will send it out ASAP along with your EOD information and what you need to schedule your MMPI-2 something something FOL, SF63, SF42, SF50, SFHIKE, SFTOUCHDOWN!

I realise these initialisms are like a second language to some of you; however other's like me can't stop thinking explosives ordnance disposal when we see EOD.
I understand there is a lot to take in, and it’ll be like this for a while but these 10 acronyms that you deal with in the hiring process is nothing compared to the rest of your career. I’d suggest buckling in and taking a deep breath, there will literally be non stop acronyms for the rest of your career.

I’d second what’s been said on here, go through some of the past pages of this thread, or even the 2018 OTS thread and read up on the process. Like I said, I know it’s a lot and a lot of us have been through it and can relate. But acronyms will really be the least of your worries through this process.

Edit: also, a simple google search will usually yield a solid result in about a minute or so of research...I can’t begin to list the number of times I did that through this process.

Back to his original question... Well one of them... You can log back into USAJobs and look at everything you submitted with the application. Checked your own resume and see who you listed. ?

Probably getting ahead of myself here but once you're there how do you get around to your commute if you went there with no transportation of your own? I saw Kims Place has a shuttle service, but what about the Anatole? Are we supposed to Uber it up, rent a car, or make friends with someone who does have a car? Also can you get reimbursed for that type of expense?

Federal Aviation Administration - Transportation List

According to Anatole's website, their address is 5924 S.W. 12th St, which is listed on the FAA's shuttle schedule above?

Kim's has two neighborhoods. One has the shuttle, the other doesn't, iirc, but she will make sure to put you in the one that has it if you need it. She will also help facilitate getting people who are willing to carpool in touch with you if you wanna go that route.

Any ideas on getting the USAF Personnel and Medical HQ to do thier job?

I sent my request for them to release all military records direct to the FAA via a document that was almost entirely filled out by the FAA (idiot proof) except for signature. This was sent via USPS Priority Mail about 2 weeks ago and I got a reply today that the FAA still hasn't recieved them.

My CIL 60 day mark is up on January 17th. I'd really hate to lose a job opportunity by relying on the USAF's ability to get anything done in a timely manner that doesn't directly benefit them.

This was more of a rant. Very annoying to hear that this is the only thing holding this process up.

You won't lose the TOL because they didn't get your records. You will have to wait until they get them though. Who has them depends on branch and service date. You can look here if you don't know Veterans' Medical and Health Records
If it's with the VA, god help you. I don't know how long Randolph takes but it cant be worse than the VA.

My passport expired and was wondering if I should hang on to it for eQIP or should i send it in to get renewed. It probably expired about a year ago.

Anyone here take their drug test 6 days after their medical? Apparently the clinic scheduled me on the days that the certified person wasn’t there....

There is a question on the eQIP asking if you have a current or expired passport. I don't so I said no. Not sure what it asks you if you say yes.

6 days or 6 business days? I have seen a few posts on this board about people needing to re-do their drug test

For the eqip it asks if you have one even if it is expired. I'm fairly certain all it asked for was the passport number. Just take a picture of it or something and you should be able to get the info it wants.

Thanks I'm going to answer truthfully about everything but I'm just wondering, What's exactly it tier 2? I know it's when you fail the MMPI but what does it mean? You have to fill out more paperwork?
