They extend the contract for so fucking long there is another convention before it expires to try again, but they will brow beat Fac Reps to vote against that in the pre-convention meetings just like this time.

No. Ratification is the majority of the votes cast. If only one person voted, and it was for ratification, it passes.

The slatebook was ratified with over 98.32% for ratification.

That convention amendment was garbage. Term agreements already require ratification, changing it from a majority, to 2/3 wouldn’t increase buy in as proposed.

There was. Contract extensions are an MOU amending the end date of the current contract. There is no process to ratify a MOU.
