You know those times where you have an itching feeling that your FLM is full of shit...this is one of those times
That whole thread... I had not laughed that much in a while. You better hope tcassie doesn't catch you saying something like this
She’s got upper management written all over her. She could have as many as 3 people working directly under herYou better hope tcassie doesn't catch you saying something like this

Then your rep should be doing a better job as RVPs are keeping them all updated constantly through Slack.I figured as much but the rep isnt really saying anything just it's all good.
It was only a matter of time.
You don't have to cancel bid leave. It will still be approved, just changed over to furloughI'm about 3 days from having to cancel bid leave because of this crap, wish they'd do that at our fac.
Are release dates still effective during a shutdown? Or do you stay at your current facility till the shutdown is over?
Out of curiosity, and hopefully it doesn’t last this long, but we have someone retiring Jan 31. How does the shutdown affect him?
You could also miss out on losing money.I wonder what implications this has on our tsp? Obviously it's a bigger issue the longer this goes on.
Not making contributions and missing out on compounding interest is through no fault of our own.
Just saw this thread as some one who is going through this now. My start date was Dec 23 the beginning of the pay period. With my first real day being the 24th. Then got pushed to the 26th since Trump made Christmas Eve a holiday. Then the government shutdown. I have yet to start and unable to swear in due to there is no one at work to swear me in.To make things more clear. If it still going on I will be furloughed the day I arrive and swear in.
