Wait, what? Where are you hearing this?
Does anyone know if the bands are raised this time? For example if a basic band maximum was $100,000 is it now $101,400?
Only the NATCA Slate Book raises in July change the pay bands if I'm not mistaken
Other way around. Presidential raises the bands the June 1.6 moves you through the bands.
Good, then I hope this January one raises the band like normal. I'm only about $500 below my current max so if the band raises up I'll stay below. The natca raise in June is going to cap me out and I'll get a lump sum. for the rest. Ugh. How many more natca raises are there? Up to 2022 right?
You don't get a lump sum, your basic pay just goes up. Unless your base is capped out then maybe you get a lump sum but I don't know of anyone that applies to.Good, then I hope this January one raises the band like normal. Yes, you get a lump sum if you are top of the payband and a June raise hits, as the June raise doesn't move the band. Essentially they cut you a check for 1.6 percent of your pay. I believe it's on its own LES also. You don't get a lump sum, your basic pay just goes up. Unless your base is capped out then maybe you get a lump sum but I don't know of anyone that applies to.
If I ever meet you in person and that elf beard ain't real we are going to throw fists.... If your basic pay (pay without locality) is at the top of the band then yes you get a lump sum otherwise your basic pay goes up and you essentially get less locality.Yes, you get a lump sum if you are top of the payband and a June raise hits, as the June raise doesn't move the band. Unfortunately on his D3One of my friends CPC’d the second week of January. Since the ~1.9% raise (excluding locality) occurred when he was still D3 (Jan 1), will the raise only count on his D3 pay not his CPC? Assuming the payband doesn’t shift up. I hope that makes sense.
Dang that sucks for him!Unfortunately on his D3
January raises that are government-wide raise the payband. One of my friends CPC’d the second week of January. Not how that works at all. Basic pay is the bands...the locality is different at locations. If you are top of a 7 band at rest of US locality, and you transfer to a 7 with 25 percent locality, you will still be top of the band.If your basic pay (pay without locality) is at the top of the band then yes you get a lump sum otherwise your basic pay goes up and you essentially get less locality.
