We had a guy at my facility hardship in last January! Less than a year later with the hardship still in full effect he got picked up last NCEPT and is leaving. So no there isn’t any real regulation on that.WOW this is part of the problem, people abusing the system, but to answer the question no there isnt but there should be, but you should get certified before you ERR in my opinion

Haha, no I don't think there is man. Good luck! After you hardship to a new facility. Is there a minimum amount of time that you need to be there before you can try to ERR out?
It's your fault. Thanks for the responses. Don't hate the player....This is the FAA/Unions fault really for locking certain facilities down. We have had plenty of people use allergies as the reason to get out. I've put in my time where I'm at, the hour long commute between quick turns is getting really old and Im not throwing down a mil to live within 15 minutes of the place in a pos.
What's his fault? Sounds like he's going to be just fine...It's your fault.
Scamming hardships. Yeah he gets away with so he wins. But don't deflect responsibility on the Union or Agency. Those policies are in place for a reason. What's his fault? Sounds like he's going to be just fine...
Theres no other way out these days dude, would you rather he quit?Scamming hardships. Yeah he gets away with so he wins. But don't deflect responsibility on the Union or Agency. Those policies are in place for a reason.
There is ways out. Not necessarily as a controller within the FAA, but there's DOD facilities to apply to. Or some supervisor jobs you might be able to get a release for. Or other jobs not in the ATO, but that have return rights.Theres no other way out these days dude, would you rather he quit?
So someone with allergies is just as bad as someone intentionally scamming the hardship system? It should frustrate you, and should only be used for legitimate reasons. Sorry to hear about your situation.
Zyrtec departure. No joke, we've had people use this.
You guys for real?Theres no other way out these days dude, would you rather he quit?
