Medical Hardship Question

no he is not reading it to his interpretation. It does not happen often but they can hold someone. However, Most people read it your way for sure and don’t bother with it because people scream bloody murder.

for this guys specific case fuck people for trying to hold him back. His kids problem is legit, take care of your family brother, talk to hardship rep rvp etc etc. get your son the care he needs and fuck the rest.

regardless of whether or not they “scream bloody murder” they cant be unreasonably delayed. But, I will admit looking at it again it just says “if the Agency determines the request cannot be accommodated due to staffing” but doesn’t specify one facility or the other so I was wrong.

In agreement though, if your kid is suffering and you have a bonafide doctors note (not just word of mouth) your hardship request is pretty solid....that note with signature is the key though...

Run all documentation through your hardship guy at the regional level. There's specific language they'll look for when determining if you hardship is bona fide.

Your current facility’s staffing is irrelevant.
Music to my ears

Just a note, DAL has a Hardship Waiting List. (reported by MJ in another thread)

Not passing judgement, but shouldn't ADS/AFW/FTW have a hardship waiting list as well? This sure makes it seem like some are scamming for a pay raise, and then live in Ft Worth.

If there are available facilities when you hardship and you decline them because it’s not DAL or DFW, your hardship should be thrown out and considered void, not eligible for any future consideration.

Agreed. Just like the people you will only take DEN, but not APA, or BJC.

Except you don’t get a pay raise until you check out
