To give an example of how out of touch the top FAA is, one of the reasons the EWR move was expected to work was because someone towards the top (unfortunately I can’t remember who) thought that you were a CPC once you finished the lab so that the staffing would be fine after a couple of months.

If you read/watch the now acting COOs testimony to Congress, he was asked why the EWR area had to move. He said “ the numbers said we had to move it for the long term health of the facility” or something about like that. The numbers mason! What do they mean!
No one asked if the “numbers” were actually relevant or how they arrived at them, and no one asked anyone at N90 if they thought it would be a good idea lol.
Allegedly NATCA is pushing for the house verbiage to be adopted in the combined bill and not the senate verbiage. Still insane they aren’t communicating the single biggest issue in this bill

I'm not at all convinced there will be a conference between the House and Senate to work out the differences in their reconciliation bills.
My two cents: If a reconciliation bill makes it out of he Senate, the House will go with it. I only say this because the big hold-up over SALT has apparently already been resolved and the Senate amended their SALT portion over the weekend.
National Airspace System runs on antiquated technology while handling 45,000 daily flights. Upgrades need Senate OK of FAA funding beyond the $12.5 billion House bill

Well what is realistic is our own union selling us out for the gain of a select few. I also expect our union to negotiate on the behalf of a career field they don't represent because It'll look good and help national members down the line

You have no idea what anyone is doing on your behalf in DC. You quit the union long ago, get over it dude. You got your raise and you get no vote on who speaks for you now locally or nationally.
