To me, the problem with training as a rep is that you are now part of the system that you are attempting to poke holes in. Losing that impartiality is the exact type of NATCA management incestuous shit that most people complain about. I get that at small facilities it's helpful to train. But that's not your problem as a rep. You don't have to bail management out of everything.

Except if your trainees aren't training, they aren't getting raises. You aren't certifying the trainees to open more opportunities for leave or additional RDO lines.
