2.5 years isn’t insignificant, especially considering he was the ARVP and the Facrep of a lvl 12 center for many years before that. He’s held high level NATCA positions for upwards of a decade. If you think Nick is some type of outsider that’s going to drastically change everything for the better the second he gets the “President” title, you’re an idiot. And just to be clear, none of the other mainstream candidates are any better. JD is the only real option for change and improvement.
EDIT: and one more point, we’ve seen the type of “leadership” we get from ND on the national stage recently. i.e. wanting to extend our mediocre, outdated contract indefinitely solely out of fear with the US presidential election. You think that’s going to project “credibility” to the agency?
