Effective Monday, February 13, the Office of Information & Technology (AIT) is updating its requirement to access FAA’s KSN/SharePoint sites for FAA account holders.
In accordance with the President’s 2021 Executive Order on Improving the Nation’s Cybersecurity (EO 14028), which includes a requirement for Multi-Factor Authentication access to federal systems, FAA account holders will need to be connected to the FAA network, either from within an FAA facility or connected to the Virtual Private Network (VPN) to access KSN/SharePoint sites. External non-FAA users, those with a KSN or EXC account, will continue to access KSN/SharePoint sites from outside of the FAA network as they do today.
