"Well now you're saying its for the sake of argument whereas before you said it was a matter of credibility."
Yes, you need credibility in an argument- if I said "vaccines don't work" are you going to believe me? Am I credible? Or are we just taking this as gut instinct?
"Then again you say logic or instinct has no place in an arguement, yet the very base in a debate is an arguement of logic with statements and modern politics is essentially instinctual pandering (see Biden for this done horribly wrong on camera)"
Wrong. Logic has place in an argument over instinct. Literally the point of the Mein Kampf argument (and vaccines, and global warming, etc etc).
As well you don't comprehend the opposing parties statements and instead twist them to what you perceive they say, including you bring up your degree mutiple times, which as a person who is requesting relevant sources, is neither relevant nor impressive. As well, do you have a degree or should I still say student?
Degree. So am I supposed to take the statement "welfare state areas, tax and spend train wrecks run for decades by liberals" at face value? I can't request additional information on the chance that I end up being wrong, and this guy is right?
"Arguements are arguements, the basis for their strength isn't dependent on sources at all unless you're literally a college student."
Yeah, you're right on this. Johnny argues that I owe him 10 dollars and caused his girlfriend to cheat on him, no sources needed. Guess that's a point in your favor lol. Global warming doesn't exist because my argument has no sources. The majority of
well constructed arguments have conclusions that are logically proved.
"Additionally, I'm soaking in the assumption that other's aren't as educated or more than you. That's a peach one that will get you far in life."
Considering the "logic" that the US census says:
(here's a source!
U.S. Census Bureau Releases New Educational Attainment Data)
Yes, I am more educated than most people. In fact, only 12% of the U.S. population over 18 has a masters' degree! Sure it depends on what you study, but getting a bachelors means that you have gone through more "education" than the US majority. That's a LOGICAL fact! Not a "gut feel"!
You say all these things and spin yourself as actually thinking you're debating me, but you're just furthering the "gut instinct" that anti-vaxxers, flat earthers, and climate change deniers have. No reason for "sources" or scientific evidence because all of it is tainted by political parties! All arguments are pointless unless using gut instinct! No need to think with your head when you can think with your heart!
