Again your train of thought makes a weird move. Read the quote with context in it's entirety being the relevance of sources in a modern world where sources themselves can be cherry picked based upon political ideology and desired stance. The instance of 1000 proofs of wrong yet 1 right meaning a persons argument has any relevance is preposterous and yet I can find a source justifying the Holocaust and I gueas that means you're cool with it.

Or does your gut feeling tell you that genocide is bad?

Yeah no shit genocide is bad- you don't need gut feeling for that. But let's assume that I don't know what genocide is.

That's why I'm asking for his perspective. I'm not going to read only Mein Kampf and say "oh I guess the Holocaust WAS justified, I guess genocide was good!". I'm going to read the other perspective of the countries that fought AGAINST the Nazis and come to a conclusion based on evidence from both sides and come to the conclusion "Wow the Holocaust was fucked up and we should never do that again"

I am still asking for sources even with political ideology behind it. I'm asking for his "cherry picked sources" as you call it so I can see why he draws the conclusions he does. That's how most debates work- you read the perspective of others and develop counterpoints. I didn't get any sources!

Well now you're saying its for the sake of argument whereas before you said it was a matter of credibility.

Try researching claims people make and you'll be surprised as to what is true and what is not. Can't go off your gut instinct forever.

Then again you say logic or instinct has no place in an arguement, yet the very base in a debate is an arguement of logic with statements and modern politics is essentially instinctual pandering (see Biden for this done horribly wrong on camera)

Where's your source? If you don't have sources that are meaningful then the discussion is moot lol

As well you don't comprehend the opposing parties statements and instead twist them to what you perceive they say, including you bring up your degree mutiple times, which as a person who is requesting relevant sources, is neither relevant nor impressive. As well, do you have a degree or should I still say student?

Idk coming from a guy who thinks gut feeling=logic it doesn't mean much, you probably had a "gut feeling" about what those books were about instead of actually reading them.

And that's "master's student" to you.

Arguements are arguements, the basis for their strength isn't dependent on sources at all unless you're literally a college student.

Additionally, I'm soaking in the assumption that other's aren't as educated or more than you. That's a peach one that will get you far in life.

All I did was ask for a source- guess what? Arguments are stronger when you have sources!

It means I spent studying economics for close to 6 years- how long have you spent studying it? Like I said, I'm happy to debate you, but saying that sources aren't necessary because "gut feeling=logic" makes your argument laughable. As a great man once said:
View attachment 4328
Your "nonexistent masters" taught you to blame other people for your own economic failings instead of trying to make a better life for yourself and blaming the "liberals" for a city full of individuals that couldn't care less if you died tomorrow. Try bettering yourself! You might enjoy it.

You're a guy who blames liberals for the failure of SF and has no sources to back his argument when asked. Good luck at ZOA!

"Well now you're saying its for the sake of argument whereas before you said it was a matter of credibility."
Yes, you need credibility in an argument- if I said "vaccines don't work" are you going to believe me? Am I credible? Or are we just taking this as gut instinct?

"Then again you say logic or instinct has no place in an arguement, yet the very base in a debate is an arguement of logic with statements and modern politics is essentially instinctual pandering (see Biden for this done horribly wrong on camera)"

Wrong. Logic has place in an argument over instinct. Literally the point of the Mein Kampf argument (and vaccines, and global warming, etc etc).

Degree. So am I supposed to take the statement "welfare state areas, tax and spend train wrecks run for decades by liberals" at face value? I can't request additional information on the chance that I end up being wrong, and this guy is right?

"Arguements are arguements, the basis for their strength isn't dependent on sources at all unless you're literally a college student."
Yeah, you're right on this. Johnny argues that I owe him 10 dollars and caused his girlfriend to cheat on him, no sources needed. Guess that's a point in your favor lol. Global warming doesn't exist because my argument has no sources. The majority of well constructed arguments have conclusions that are logically proved.

"Additionally, I'm soaking in the assumption that other's aren't as educated or more than you. That's a peach one that will get you far in life."

Considering the "logic" that the US census says:
(here's a source! U.S. Census Bureau Releases New Educational Attainment Data)

Yes, I am more educated than most people. In fact, only 12% of the U.S. population over 18 has a masters' degree! Sure it depends on what you study, but getting a bachelors means that you have gone through more "education" than the US majority. That's a LOGICAL fact! Not a "gut feel"!

You say all these things and spin yourself as actually thinking you're debating me, but you're just furthering the "gut instinct" that anti-vaxxers, flat earthers, and climate change deniers have. No reason for "sources" or scientific evidence because all of it is tainted by political parties! All arguments are pointless unless using gut instinct! No need to think with your head when you can think with your heart!

Don't bother replying, you've wasted enough of the readers on this forum's time.

i actually knew ol Caitlin when she went to APP St. back when they were upsetting Michigan football in the good ol days pre COVID-19 when i would fly into the Country Club known as Tri-cities Airport and rent a compact car to drive to Boone
I just FDTd into TRI last fall to visit a buddy of mine in Johnson City...that is some small town shit right there.

Sounds like you believe Education is synonymous w intelligence. Hopefully you wont have to suffer and experience dark days and failure to realize your degrees don't make you better or smarter than anybody else. If you think you are above 88% of the population i'm afraid you are in for a crash course that you never expected to enroll in.

May i ask (i wont blame you if you dont say, because I myself am unwilling to say) what state of training are you in and what facility or at least type of facility you are at?

TLDR too many contradictions, failed to address the arguement, and didn't correctly cite sources...

He had a class date of 4/10/2020, I'm assuming he's not even in the agency yet.
That's not my class date 😉 just wanted to know where people stay.

Education is most definitely not intelligence. I am proof of that. 😉

Source that I'm lying?

Hint: it's in this thread

Asking an OJTI for a source is the best way to get quality training. I'm convinced your an MSS mole and just writing up PRCs for some online ethics issue I skimmed over on ELMs.

Sorry guys. I left for a few days for my own sanity and boy did I miss a lot!! Place got heated. I can’t believe CF didn’t lock it up!

no furlough talks this week, just some Natca backpedaling to try and save face with devs. Don’t believe it it’s #fakenews.
I quite enjoyed the rip on Cali convo. Good work everyone.

oh, and bravo to PushingTin for using one of my favorite words in great context- “elitist”
