has anyone ran in to any issues with taking holiday leave. For example being told you have to take either all or nothing. If I want to take 2 hrs holiday leave, and only work 6 hrs, is there anything legally against doing so?

You can take any portion of holiday leave you want.

Godspeed to you! At the beginning of all this when the virtual stuff started we were teaching my 4 year old how to read, that was absolutely horrible. I'd rather get a tape talk from a supe that can't work traffic than do that again.
