Funny thing about that is it presumes it maintains the regulations that killed the industries that once made it a very thriving area. Realistically it would be mid-pack for GDP based upon natural resources and the upcoming marijuana industry would make it a leader.

Though it would literally be a state where both agriculture and drugs are the leading industries, followed by commercial fishing.

Native californian here, whataburger and in n' out are both damn good. I prefer in n out more, but I can see how it goes either way with people. Two completely different concepts outside of the burger part.

I’ve had Whataburger, 5 Guys, Culver’s and they don’t compare to In-N-Out’s speed, service, price and food quality. They don’t even come close.
