Kicking a corpse? Just sharing an example of the same rhetoric dude was spewing.
It’s just funny to reflect on the own the libs pplAll I'm saying is: when there are tens and tens of thousands of examples in the U.S of people dying from this, what point does it serve to share an example of someone who spoke out against the media frenzy and then died... except as a "gotcha, loser"?
I mean, don't tell me you think that's the silver bullet to convince the likes of PushingTin.

The own the libs mentality leads to things like not wearing masks.Huh?

Wait so you say they are trying to keep the 5/5 schedule cus they like it not for safety or what? It's fun getting emails from my previous facility that's doing the same numbers/percentage that my current facility is doing, with less people, about how they're doing their best to stay on the 5/5 schedule. They really should listen to the people whining about how terrible 5 day weekends are.
Speaking of your previous facility... was this NovemberHotel character as bad as they say? I know a person at ZAU that said they have to mention in their relief briefing if he is in position or not. Then another gal I know said at ZMP they have on the monitor where they show flow and restrictions if he is working or not. Sounds like a myth. But I don’t know anyone from there currently so I thought I would ask. It's fun getting emails from my previous facility that's doing the same numbers/percentage that my current facility is doing, with less people, about how they're doing their best to stay on the 5/5 schedule. If it was a safety thing you’d have to run traffic management unitives and keep 5/5 not go back to normal.I'm sure that safety is a big part of it. These schedules are designed to keep people away from each other as much as possible and corona is surging across most of the country. It's only a matter of time before it runs through a facility running normal ops. Trying to run an area with 2 people while TMU "tries their best to help out" will be fun.
Having controllers that like 5 day weekends and a union that fights to keep them for as long as possible is a good thing. I know some of their areas are getting battered pretty hard though and I doubt it's sustainable. You'd think we were working under the same conditions here with the amount of bitching you hear.
Yes, he's as bad as they say. There were celebrations on multiple crews when he went to a different area.
Ok rumour (rumor) has it that a Z someone made their own NATCA shirt that said “Back The Blue” and got sent home.
The reason I thought it was PushingTin was because I heard it and thought of it as a joke since the union makes a shirt for whatever the new injustice of the week is on social media at the time. So the fact that he got sent home makes it seem that the union agrees with managements decision. Funny plot twist is if he wasn’t even a member. Whoever is at his facility please update us.I don't know who to be mad at here, the guy or the facility.
Back the blue is an appropriate message. But most people seem only say it out of spite for BLM, and that makes it inappropriate.
But shit, I've now seen people respond BLM when a police officer gets killed. So the reverse can be true.
So I think I'll be mad at the facility here. In and of themselves both messages are appropriate, so either we treat both as such OR... if we're making assumptions about ulterior motives... we treat neither as such.
