Yet accepting sources as a requirement against logic in an argument is as equally as ridiculous. Don't get me wrong, a vetted source can make an argument more legitimate but that doesn't mean it has credibility. Plenty of reputable sources will swear opposites of each other all day, and yet the only thing we can do is utilize logic, or "gut feeling".
If you think logic=gut feeling idk what to tell you. With that logic I can say "Vaccines cause autism" or "global warming is a scam" or "political party is ruining the US!" from "gut feeling"

Cuomo is literallly begging the wealthy to return to NY because his tax policies drove them out, yet his voter base want to tax them more. Utopia is dope until it runs out of funding.
Like I said, poorly run cities.

Either way, each party ponders to their base with blatant disregard.
Agreed.

If SFO could just build a 50 floor complex..?... but the environmentmental wackos would demand a 3 year impact study, they would be taxed into left wing utopian oblivian. But hey...IF a frog had wings he wouldn’t wear himself out hoppin’ now would he? But only if....

Got the sources for the liberals ruining the city yet? Otherwise no point in responding

Why would anyone bother, you seem to be just some college aged kid with blinders on that learned all about the world through a themed English Comp class on how Marxism means equality and Ayn Rand was the devil incarnate.

You can't educate the blind on what's right in front of their eyes.

Idk coming from a guy who thinks gut feeling=logic it doesn't mean much, you probably had a "gut feeling" about what those books were about instead of actually reading them.

And that's "master's student" to you.

And that's "master's student" to you, dumbass.

And that's how you can tell you're a kid, you assume both your degree means something and that no one else on here is educated.

Yet you want someone to spoon feed you a source while arguing instinct and logic are unrelated.

Your "masters" didn't teach you to think I hope you know, simply how to consume the information put in front of you.

You’re talking about a ‘highly educated guy with sources’ that puts his shoes on the wrong feet ?

All I did was ask for a source- guess what? Arguments are stronger when you have sources!

It means I spent studying economics for close to 6 years- how long have you spent studying it? Like I said, I'm happy to debate you, but saying that sources aren't necessary because "gut feeling=logic" makes your argument laughable. As a great man once said:

Your "nonexistent masters" taught you to blame other people for your own economic failings instead of trying to make a better life for yourself and blaming the "liberals" for a city full of individuals that couldn't care less if you died tomorrow. Try bettering yourself! You might enjoy it.

You're a guy who blames liberals for the failure of SF and has no sources to back his argument when asked. Good luck at ZOA!

What if his masters was in philosophy?

This is actually a very real thing within FAA ATC. While not the #BestJobintheWorld per se, it is a good job w good pay and benefits. I have seen many of these Masters in this or that, Double Masters in ____ and ______ , highly educated people check out at large level facilities but then become disillusioned that people like (for arguments sake) me or you have the SAME job as them, and are better controllers. So they start moving up the mgmt ladder, and become the people who lose their minds when the White book hits, finally able to flex their muscle and show their superiority. Its an evil sick mindset but it happens. They just cant bring themselves to put you on their level, and even grudgingly after years of seeing you work a shitload of wild sessions and saving their ass, they say shit like "well you are an outlier, exception. most people who support Trump and dont have my Masters are dumb people who cling to their guns and religion"
Source? 😉

ONE Considering that isn't what I said regarding logic and gut feelings, sure be defensive.

And as a former logistician I'm comfortable in saying your train of thought is fucky at best.

Sounds like you're using logic as an equivalent for gut feeling. Correct me if you're wrong.

ZOA...another left coast city run into the ground by liberals. No source...just eye balls, nostrils.

So is logic or gut feeling better to use in a debate?
In a debate would you use a source citing logic or gut feeling?

Plenty of reputable sources will swear opposites of each other all day, and yet the only thing we can do is utilize logic, or "gut feeling".

Again your train of thought makes a weird move. Read the quote with context in it's entirety being the relevance of sources in a modern world where sources themselves can be cherry picked based upon political ideology and desired stance. The instance of 1000 proofs of wrong yet 1 right meaning a persons argument has any relevance is preposterous and yet I can find a source justifying the Holocaust and I gueas that means you're cool with it.

Or does your gut feeling tell you that genocide is bad?
