I’m talking about the political battle that is COVID-19. I’m talking about people locally, who died swimming in a lake, having their death being classified as COVID-19 or car accidents being classified as COVID-19. I’m talking about hospitals telling nurses to administer tests incorrectly, in order to do procedures, on patients that make the hospitals more money because COVID-19 doesn’t pay them shit. I’m talking about ICUs, around a major city, being staffed by GEMA nurses and agency nurses because the full time staff has had enough of this shit and have moved on to other jobs. I’m talking about hundreds of OSHA violations being swept under the rug by state authorities.
 
I mean, hospitals do get a fat check for covid patients, and money is a great motivatior for just about anyone.

Then again RIP to the guy who crashed his motorcycle in Florida and died of Covid on the scene, or the guys who got clapped by them 9 milli Rona rounds in Washington.

The hospitals don’t get shit for COVID-19. They thought it was great, in the beginning, but their number crunchers quickly realized the hospitals were losing their asses taking care of COVID-19 patients while not providing other surgeries, procedures, et cetera. That’s why there are numerous reports of hospitals telling staff to administer COVID-19 tests incorrectly so patients can have SIGNIFICANTLY HIGHER paid procedures.

I completely agree, but you can’t get straight answers because the people we should be able to rely on don’t give a shit about telling the straight story. Everyone is skewing their argument to meet their own stake, in the game. I truly think COVID-19 is bad. However, I find it hard to believe the numbers given how many false positives there have been with drive thru swabs and such. I think a lot fewer actual positives exist and thus the mortality rate, of COVID-19, is a much higher percentage (say 6-7%). My wife works in ICU and IR. She’s had false positives at the same time as other, more reliable tests, show negative. (Example: four tests done. One cheap test kit from...you guess it China... says positive yet other tests including blood tests say negative)
