Fair enough. That's why I'm not a registered Republican. I think there's plenty of things from both parties I despise, and we could use a handful more political parties. I'm all for pro-choice and gay marriage.
Hell, if Joe just "shut the hell up" about guns and said he'd legalize drugs, I'd be on board. Like nhstadt said, he's about the most moderate Democrat they could have possibly put forth. But what turns me off to the left is the non-stop "Who wants free shit" pandering. I was watching some bootleg Roku channel the other night and 3 back-to-back commercials came on, each with a different "gibs me dat" hook ...the government was not designed to be, nor should it be, the main source of income for an individual. Universal healthcare is not a "safety net," and all government programs do is de-incentivize people from providing for themselves. That, and the left's own version of their crazies (AOC, Pelosi, Feinstein, Hillary, etc...) keep me firmly away from that party.
