TMC to Controller

Does anyone know what the requirements are for going from TMC back to the floor as a controller? I was told I have to ERR back to the position, but no one can give me a straight answer on what the NCEPT requirements are? Does my facility have to be eligible to both release and select?

Good question. Might be better off trying to swap a controller who is current as well. Staffing shouldn’t matter then as long as the TMC training isn’t that long.
