We’ve had our training paused, restarted only if social distancing could be maintained, fully restarted, and now completely paused again.

I wish we could get all the trainees together to write our senators. The premise would be we want full pay for times we were AT work and not able to train. Also we want our cpc initial raise to reflect the now 3 or 4 we missed out on.

So great as that sounds I don’t think we would ever get anything. As much as I disliked sitting at home for 14 months I don’t understand why they don’t just send us home again if the cases in the facilities aren’t going away. At least then I could have a second job and not have to worry about being away from my family during the night/weekends while I work.

This seems fair. Maybe something like after you certify you go back and take the amount of time your training was delayed and give raises and back pay like you certified without the delay. It’ll never happen but yeah.

This is a bad attitude.

There's trillions in releif funds that went out.

There's trainees in every 50 states.

If everyone of them called their senators and reps it only takes ONE ear to care.

NATCA is one of the most influential labor unions but will not start it

Not surprising. They’re looking at what’s going on in the UK, which has been the canary in the coal mine for the rest of the western world the entire pandemic, and thinking that’s what’s coming here. Not agreeing with it just pointing out what’s probably coming.
