Relax chief, I was a trainee who was forced to work basically as a CPC the entire pandemic and got paid at the minimum 35% less than everyone who was doing the same thing

As a side note, hopefully all you guys have used your free time hustling to get your vaccines so you’re much more attractive to the facility in resuming work, but I’m going to go out on a limb and wager that’s not the case.

What's your wager? Part time job and on the waitlist for vaccine in my state here.

That movie doesn’t get enough credit for being one of the best ever, it at least the best that encompassed early 90’s style pop culture.

Remember when they remade it for the woke era a few years ago and made it PG-13? Replaced all the adversaries in the huge fight scenes with robots and androids so the movie character death count was about three instead of the original 300?

What a disgrace.

I refused to watch the remake. The original was awesome, right there with RoboCop

Does nothing for restarting training. At this point it is only for your own peace of mind. I have to hope that NATCA and the FAA are discussing ways to utilize those who have been vaccinated, but have my doubts.

Correct. Because being vaccinated doesn't mean you cannot get or spread covid, simply that you're symptoms may be less severe.

*It hasn’t been proven yet whether it stops transmission or not. Most likely it does.

There are promising studies out of Israel that the Pfizer vaccine significantly reduces transmission.

I told my colleagues that since a good portion of them were vaccinated, I could remove my mask, since I posed extremely little risk to them, but that they needed to continue to wear masks because of the great risk they posed to me.

They were displeased with this.


But on a more serious note, it's simply common sense that vaccine will reduce transmission... it reduces symptoms such as coughing that help the virus travel further than it can with normal breathing. As to how much it can reduce transmission, we'll have to wait and see.
