No. The trb should not be discussing that. They only address if training is executed according to the local and national order. Is being sexually harassed and an active EEO complaint enough to win hours back during a TRB?
I think they take training conditions into account. It’s worth bringing upNo. The trb should not be discussing that. They only address if training is executed according to the local and national order.
Might they discuss it? Maybe
Management was well awareBoth the OS and the trainee have a responsibility to address extenuating circumstances.
Well then, to answer your original question, the review board will take that into consideration along with any violations that they find. They will take all of that information and make a recommendation to the ATM. The ATM will then use the boards recommendation to help make a decision on continuation or termination of training.Management was well aware
You’d have to have a really jacked up atm looking for trouble if he went against the board haha.It is important to emphasize that the review board ONLY make a recommendation, the ATM is who ultimately decides continuation or termination.
100% agree, just saying that they don't have to follow the recommendationYou’d have to have a really jacked up atm looking for trouble if he went against the board haha.
this is a lawsuit.Management was well aware
I disagree, if it’s for good reasoning I would love to see an ATM with the balls to do it. Usually NATCA and even the Agency send their better people to do these TRB’s but sometimes you get a 60+ year old support specialist from a level 5 up down who’s position was eliminated but they are grandfathered to work it until they retire, and they think they can dictate what a higher level facility does in a power trip, suggesting radical changes to their training program after the TRB.You’d have to have a really jacked up atm looking for trouble if he went against the board haha.
Through the NEST? Or the EEO process? They'll probably highly recommend a new facility - not to stay where you're at.
I don’t know any of your situation, but I’d guess the FAA would offer similar level facilities to go to if your situation is legit and also on the nature of the harassment. I have zero context for your situation, but if it’s serious, I imagine they have avenues. Or you’d need to get a lawyer.Through the NEST? Or the EEO process?
I don’t know the person or situation with detail. But I do know someone who was washing out and cited EEO but eventually was offered lower level facilities on the NEST.Is being sexually harassed and an active EEO complaint enough to win hours back during a TRB?
We were all trainees once, most of us were afraid of stepping on toes before we got certified.Hey let’s wait until we are washing out to bring up harassment. Makes sense.
