My thoughts are HLN because Montana is absolutely beautiful, PIA is getting 804d to St Louis so it could be a easy way to jump up. Or JNU or FAI because Alaska seems like a wild time.

you missed my point. There is no training to be had - so how can they be a quick checkout ? In this day in age, go somewhere you’re willing to spend your whole career. If they ever even get to train which at this point I doubt.

Just going off locations based on weather, cost of living, etc.and NOT looking at ability to get released, I’d go with:

I had to make sure people were paying attention! LOL. Seriously though that list hurts the soul.

DLH is gorgeous in the summer/fall if you can handle the winters. Fun little down town area and all the out doors stuff you need. I would pick the one with the best staffing and fast training program personally. Gotta move up for the $$!

MKG is the best IMO. I just left the facility and it’s leaving a place with GREAT people and a beautiful area. I lived in Grand Rapids and commuted because I needed a little city life.
The crew...Like I said GREAT people, at the time 90% of us were veterans and we had all branches of service. If I didn’t take a 25k pay cut I wouldn’t be in a hurry to leave. Summers are beautiful and the winter are not bad...well I came from Alaska so nothings bad to me. Hit me up if anyone has questions.
